What Affects the Cost of Scaffolding?

 

Every property is unique, so your final quotation will depend on several factors, including:

 

• Site Access: How easy it is to transport and install the scaffolding.

• Landscape & Terrain: Sloping ground, retaining walls or uneven surfaces.

• Building Size: The height, length and complexity of the areas requiring access.

• Hire Period: How long the scaffolding is required on site.

• Additional Requirements: Roof catch platforms, shade cloth, containment sheeting, ladder access, stair towers, hoarding and other project-specific requirements.

• Full Perimeter (entire house): $3,501 – $8,000

 

Two-Storey Homes

 

• 1–2 Sides: $1,900 – $4,300

• Partial Coverage (3–4 sections or larger/high-access areas): $4,301 – $9,000

 

Full Perimeter Scaffolding

Usually upwards of $10,000

 

Under two-storey homes or new-build projects.

Spider Scaffolding specialises in small-to-medium residential projects and difficult-access work. Because our business is specifically set up for these types of jobs, we generally don’t quote on full-perimeter scaffolding for large two-storey homes or new-build projects.
